If you are new to auctions, please feel free to approach any member of staff who are present on the day and ask any questions you may have.

The buying process is simple:

• If you intend to bid please register at reception on arrival
• You will be required to leave a £99 refundable deposit - click here to see acceptable payment method
• You will be asked to produce photo identification such as a driving license or passport
• You will be given a catalogue giving the details of what is for sale on the day
• Inspect the vehicles you are interested in before the auction starts
• Make sure you are in place before the auction starts
• Listen to what the auctioneer says – he is providing important information about the vehicle
• Make obvious bids with a raised hand
• If you are successful the auctioneer will ask for your bidder number
• You will then need to go to the office to arrange payment. You can either make payment in full and take the vehicle away or leave a (minimum 10%) deposit with 7 days to pay the balance and collect the vehicle.
• If you were the highest bidder, but your bid did not meet the reserve, speak to a member of the RDH staff and we can try and negotiate with the owner on your behalf
• Finally you will need to arrange to remove the vehicle once full payment has been made
• Every vehicle is sold on the understanding that it will not be used on the road in the UK until it is in such condition that it may lawfully be so used. This will mean that you must have valid insurance, valid MOT certificate and Tax disc. If you wish to have it delivered by us please speak to us before leaving.
