Here are some simple tips to help you get the most out of the auction process:
- Start by having an in depth conversation with us about your vehicle and what price you are hoping to achieve
- Set a realistic reserve price
- Make sure you understand the auction process and all costs involved – speak to a member of our team if you have any questions
- Presentation is vitally important – many of our buyers are members of the public i.e. not traders, so the appearance of the vehicle has a large impact on what they think of it
- Either valet the vehicle yourself or ask us to do it for you – click here for valet options and prices
- Make sure the description you give us for the catalogue is accurate
- Make sure you provide us with all documentation and supporting history prior to the auction
- Let us have a contact phone number for you on the day of the auction so that we can discuss the highest bid with you in case it does not make the reserve price
- Before the auction think about what you want to do if the vehicle does not sell - your options are:
- Leave it with us on a brokerage basis until the next auction
- Enter it into the next auction
- Withdraw the vehicle from sale and remove it from our site
AND REMEMBER – WE ARE HERE TO HELP IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS
