Here are some simple tips to help you get the most out of the auction process:

  • Start by having an in depth conversation with us about your vehicle and what price you are hoping to achieve
  • Set a realistic reserve price
  • Make sure you understand the auction process and all costs involved – speak to a member of our team if you have any questions
  • Presentation is vitally important – many of our buyers are members of the public i.e. not traders, so the appearance of the vehicle has a large impact on what they think of it
  • Either valet the vehicle yourself or ask us to do it for you – click here for valet options and prices
  • Make sure the description you give us for the catalogue is accurate
  • Make sure you provide us with all documentation and supporting history prior to the auction
  • Let us have a contact phone number for you on the day of the auction so that we can discuss the highest bid with you in case it does not make the reserve price
  • Before the auction think about what you want to do if the vehicle does not sell - your options are:
    • Leave it with us on a brokerage basis until the next auction
    • Enter it into the next auction
    • Withdraw the vehicle from sale and remove it from our site
