Here are some basic tips to help you through the process of buying at auction:

• Have a clear idea about what sort of vehicle you want – size, layout, berths etc.
• Make sure you do some research and have a good idea of what similar vehicles sell for

• Make sure you are aware of the costs and accepted payment methods.
• There is a buyers’ premium of 7.5%(minimum £500+vat) in addition to your bid. Click here to see acceptable payment methods
• Make sure you arrive early enough to thoroughly inspect the vehicles you are interested in
• Make obvious bids by raising your hand
• Stick to your budget and do not get caught up in auction fever
• Finally, please bear in mind that you cannot change your mind. If you make a wining bid you now own the vehicle, so if in doubt do not bid.
